Our daughters became friends at primary school and this led to our friendship with Anne and Peter. Our families enjoyed times together including a few holidays and outings. Over the years we may not have spent as much time together but when we did visit it was as tho' it was just the "other"day that we'd chatted. I'll remember her for her no fuss way and always a welcome coffee and smile. Goodbye Anne but not forgotten rest in peace with Peter.

Fond memories. Anne was not just a work colleague but also a friend, team peacemaker, a source of constant care and support for everyone. A joy to work with, always a beacon of light and support on the end of the phone. On the occasions when we met face to face at meetings or surveyor training, if jokes ever led to teasing, we would be met with a swift friendly punch to the arm! Anne's way of keeping us in line. With a gift to listen, empathize, and bring people together, Anne leaves the positive impact she made on our lives, her legacy of kindness and peace. Will miss our talks about family and dogs! With deepest sympathy to all Anne's family and loved ones. Steve Moore

I worked with Anne for @20+ years and she was such a wonderful individual, a brilliant communicator - and very tenacious ! No problem was ever too small. I loved her 'can do', 'no-nonsense' approach to getting things done and she would always take a genuine interest in the wellbeing of staff. Will be greatly missed by all of us.

Anne was a very special cousin. I have so many lovely memories from our childhood that I could fill a whole page with those. Christmas at our Granny and Grandpa Jacksons was always very special when Anne, Peter, Gillian and I would be given our own table and would be presented with huge meringues instead of Christmas pudding. We would then join forces to play charades with the rest of the Jackson Clan. I also have happy memories of writing short plays for our Pelham Puppets and giving puppet shows for the adults. More recently, since her move to Guisborough, Anne and I spent some really happy days together at Fountains Abbey and going to Redcar Beach for a Lemon top Ice cream. In spite of her diagnosis, Anne was always so positive and we would find plenty to laugh about. When I saw her on New Year's Eve, I bought her a small chocolate cow from the M&S Easter display. When she ate it later, she let me know how good it was and I replied with Happy Easter. It is lovely to remember that last encounter and it will keep me smiling as I say a sad goodbye to a very special lady. Sleep tight, Anne. Love and hugs, Christine xxx

I'm just now coming to terms with the loss of a lovely friend. The bravest strongest lady I knew. Anne you never once complained. You always said you had no pain. Considering all you were going through that In itself was a small miracle. You still managed to walk to mine for a cordial right up to going in hospital. We chatted put the world to rights. You always listened to my moans. I miss you. Guy loved to chat over the garden fence. Or while he was in your garden helping out. You fit right in our little street. I can see you now dancing up and down in your fancy dress . Will see you again Anne Walking hand in hand now with Peter 💔❤️
