Obituary For David Clegg
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Clegg on 20th of January at the age of 85. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family are grateful to God for the full life of David. Susan enjoyed 68 happy years of marriage with him. He was a wonderful father to Lizzy and Fiona, grandfather to 5 and great-grandfather to 6.
In honouring David Clegg's wishes, the family has opted for a private, unattended service to celebrate his life. We invite friends and loved ones to cherish David Clegg's memory in their own special way.

Granddad, thank you for your kindness and wicked sense of humour. Even towards the end of your life, you were still cracking jokes and giving me a cheeky wink. You always showed a genuine interest in everything I said and did, and you were so welcoming of Joe into the family which I will forever appreciate. I'll always remember coming up to Harby for Christmases and parties, putting on a show for you in the living room and being greeted with your prickly moustache and bear hugs. Love you lots, Ella xx
