Obituary For Mave Joan Henson

"I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,to dry before the sun.
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done ".

Dear Mabit, I have known you all my life, I remember you coming to our house with my big sister Glor when I was a little girl. At such a young age I couldn't pronounce your name so you became Mabit and I still call you that now. As I grew up we used to see each others at Glor's house for parties and get together you got to know my girlies as they grew up. I remember as a teenager babysitting Vicky with my mum when you and Mark went out for the evening. You were always so lovely and warm towards me when I saw you and I looked forward to a chat, a laugh and always a hug. It was so lovely again to see you when I moved in with Glor over the past 7 years. I will miss you very much, rest in peace Mabit. Much love Karen xx

Dearest Mave, We have been good friends since we were both 11 years old. We've had a good few laughs and fun times together and shared ups and downs. When we were at school we were always in trouble for being naughty. You always said I was the bad influence! I remember when I passed my driving test and hired a mini for a holiday in Torquay. We both set off on an adventure and I remember we parked in a pub car park in Torquay only to find later on we had been blocked in. I was a new driver hadn't a clue what to do and after several giggles and laughs, three burly young guys came to our rescue. They physically lifted the car out of the space for us. We later found out they were on holiday in the same caravan park and we spent a lot of time with them and their friends that week. Still makes me smile thinking about it all. You've been a very treasured funny, kind, caring dear friend over all these years. I will miss you so much, until we meet again dear friend. Lots of love Glor xxxx

"My Nana" By Georgia Docherty (2010) My Nana is something special, She doesn't act her age, She is the undisputed queen, Of The Sun's crossword puzzle page. Not only is she clever, But she's very active too, She gets lots of points on the hula hooop game, When I only get a few. My Nana is very funny, She always makes me smile, She is the best Nana ever, No need for any trial. I love my Nana so much, More than words can say, And I will continue to love my Nana, Every second of every day.
