We cannot bid farewell to you, Michael, without sharing a few words first. Thank you for being a great friend and brother-in-law and for the many wonderful and treasured memories you've left behind for us to ponder and reflect upon. We have shared so much fun and laughter together over the years (in amongst some serious stuff too) whether at your place or ours, on a family holiday, or over the phone. And not forgetting the many and varied conversations we've shared together over a pub meal or simply over a pint or two in both England and Scotland. Thank you for all the love, care, support and encouragement you've shared with us over the years. We will miss you, Michael. Rest in peace. Andrew and Margaret x To Dawn, and to Michael's family - We send our deepest condolences.

My amazing, loving, strong husband I loved you then, I love you now, I will love you always. "With tears we saw you suffer We watched you fade away Our hearts were slowly breaking As you fought so hard to stay You did not want to leave us But you did not go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home"
